Each round the most outstanding players of the Inverarity and McKenzie Shield competitions are recognised as the Player of the Round. The Player of the Round is determined by a points system with all winners receiving a certificate at the Junior Awards Night.
The McKenzie Shield Player of the Round is Olivier Brehaut (Willetton). Wicket keeper Brehaut made 87 from 94 balls with nine fours. He also took one catch before removing the gloves and picking up the ball to take a handy 3-7 from 7 overs which included four maidens.
The Inverarity Shield Player of the Round is Mitchell Williams (Bayswater-Morley). Williams took two catches in the field before playing a starring role with the bat making 64 from 97 balls. Williams has so far made 205 runs at an average of 51.3 in the Inverarity Shield competition.
