The WA Premier Cricket Season moves into the business end of the 2017-18 Season as all Senior Grades move into Week 2 of the Final Series. The remaining Top 4 teams across the 4 Senior Grades, Under 17s & Under 15s play for the right to play in next weeks Grand Finals.. Week 2 of the Finals sees play on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th March 2018.
All Senior Grades sees play start at 10.30am, with 3 x 2-hour sessions and play finishing at 5.30pm on each day of play. Each day consists of a minimum 100 overs per side, with the side batting first to face a maximum of 112 overs before compulsory declarations occur. The Ted Hussey Shield Under 17s and John McGuire Shield Under 15s will commence their respective Finals Series on Saturday 17th March 2018 with Finals in both Grades commencing at 9.30am. Matches are played to Annexure D of the WADCC Rules & Playing Conditions, with each side to face 60 overs in 3.5 hours. The 3 winning teams and the highest ranked loser will play in Week 2 of the WA Premier Cricket Finals.
The WA Premier Cricket Female Competition Grand Finals for the A Grade 50 Over Competition and B Grade 40 Over Competition take place on Sunday 18th March 2018. Melville play Midland Guildford in both the A Grade & B Grade, with Burrendah Reserve hosting both matches. Matches are played to Annexure A of the WAFCC Rules & Playing Conditions. The B Grade 40 Over Competition are played to Annexure B of the WAFCC Rules & Playing Conditions.
