WA Premier Cricket Inverarity and McKenzie Shield Player of the Round - Round 6 2018/19

Each round the most outstanding players of the Inverarity and McKenzie Shield competitions are recognised as the Players of the Round. The Player of the Round is determined by a points system with all winners receiving a certificate at the Junior Awards Night.






McKenzie Shield (Under 14s)


The McKenzie Shield Player of the Round is Declan Power (Melville). After losing the toss and coming in to bowl, Declan was the pick of the bowlers for his team as he took figures of 4/19 off 10 overs including 5 maidens! He backed that effort a well-played knock of 44 off 59 balls with the bat that played a key role in his team getting over the line. Great effort Declan!



Inverarity Shield (Under 13s)


The Inverarity Shield Player of the Round is Lincoln Hobbs (Claremont-Nedlands). Winning the toss and electing to bat, Lincoln opened the batting for his team. He proved to be the difference as he played a superb innings of 94 off 110 balls which included 11 fours and 1 six which helped Claremont-Nedlands set up a good win. Well Done Lincoln!
