Each round the most outstanding players of the Inverarity and McKenzie Shield competitions are recognised as the Players of the Round. The Player of the Round is determined by a points system with all winners receiving a certificate at the Junior Awards Night.
The McKenzie Shield Player of the Round is Max Kounis (Centurions). As Mount Lawley won the toss and batted, Max contributed on-field by taking 2 catches and picking up 1 wicket off his 1 over to bowl the Hawks out cheaply. In response, Max was brilliant with the bat as he top-scored for his team, scoring 85 runs off 83 balls, including 12 fours and 1 six to help his team to a strong win. Superb effort from Max!
The Inverarity Shield Player of the Round is Tyne Dodds (Rockingham-Mandurah). Winning the toss, Tyne led his team from the front as the captain, scoring 64 off 91 balls, including 5 fours, to help his team to a strong total.
