The Alochol.ThinkAgain WA Premier Cricket continued with two-day cricket being played on Saturday 9th & 16th November 2019 in Round 6 of the Senior Men's competition. To catch up with highlights from the lower grades please read below and check out all of the scores on MyCricket. 



Round 6



2nd Grade


Graham Yates headlined with 87 to take South Perth to a win against Wanneroo.

Midland-Guildford defeated Fremantle in a remarkable turnaround as Fremantle won the first innings courtesy of 5/63 from Samuel Greer. Jarrad Davies top-scored with 80 as Blake Knight produced a superb second-innings spell, picking up 6/19 with Fremantle only leading by 135. The chase was brisk as Midland-Guildford chased it down in 17.4 overs.

Melville defeated Gosnells as Lachlan Farrow scored 60 while Douwtjie Hoogenboezem scored 58.

Perth defeated Joondalup despite Jake Riccardi's brilliant effort of 122* & 5/87. Dean Nelson top-scored with 75 to get Demons the win.

Bayswater-Morley defeated Scarborough as Cameron Todd top-scored with 58 while Grant Thistle was the main contributor with the ball, picking up 4/50.

Claremont-Nedlands put on a show with the bat as Brendan Murray scored 147 while Jonny Bushnell made 108*. Jack Retallack was superb with 100 but couldn't get the Lions across the line.

University defeated Rockingham-Mandurah as Bernard Greyling top-scored with 100*.

Mount Lawley defeated Willetton as Brayden Thompson (5/34) & Simon Douglas (4/30) combined for a strong bowling effort before Oliver Mouchemore scored 102* in second innings.



3rd Grade


Bayswater-Morley defeated Scarborough as Andrew Brigden-Guthrie scored a well-made 143*. Sean Costello made 106 in response but fell short in a close contest.

Subiaco-Floreat comfortably defeated Claremont-Nedlands as Sam Reed (98) and Daniel Wells (87) made runs. Cameron O'Brien took match figures of 6/39 across both innings as the Lions almost took out an outright win.

Gosnells defeated Melville as Cameron Sawatzky scored 83*. Matt Robson was impressive with the ball, picking up 4/23.

Joondalup tied Perth in a thriller as both teams finished with 316 each. Aidan Enright top-scored with 78 while Max Hallas was brilliant for Joondalup with 101.

Midland-Guildford defeated Fremantle as Christiaan Moir scored 93 while Zac Howard took 4/63.

Mount Lawley defeated Willetton in a low scoring game as Raynell Edmonds took 5/36. Gautam Bhutkar made 76 for the Hawks.

University defeated Rockingham-Mandurah as Joel Marion's 108 wasn't enough to save the game. Lachlan Ashton top-scored with 75 while Sam Howieson took 4/42.

South Perth won a close contest courtesy of Samuel Bowers' 143. Aryan Varsani batted well to score 90 but Josh Fawcett picked up 5/55 to restrict the Roos.



4th Grade


South Perth defeated Wanneroo as David Garratt-Reed made 100* to guide his team home.

Midland-Guildford won against Fremantle as Daniel Barrington top-scored with 74.

Melville defeated Gosnells as Adam Edwards starred with 5/51. Lewis Martin top-scored with 75.

Perth defeated Joondalup despite Brett McGlade's 5/64 as Demons batters combined to chase down a reasonable target in challenging conditions.

Bayswater-Morley defeated Scarborough as Peter Baker starred with match figures of 6/57 while Adam Green made a brisk 72 in second innings.

Subiaco-Floreat defeated Claremont-Nedlands as Ashley Blake played a good knock of 107.

University defeated Rockingham-Mandurah outright as Zabin Khan made 89, while Alex Champan (7/50), Josh Watt (6/54) & Luke Rosher (6/34) were amongst the wickets across both innings.

Willetton defeated Mount Lawley as Ishan Rambal was brilliant in scoring 101*.




Two-Day cricket continues in Round 7 of the WA Premier Cricket season over the next two weekends.
