WA Premier Cricket Inverarity and McKenzie Shield Player of the Round - Round 6 2020/21

Each round the most outstanding players of the Inverarity and McKenzie Shield competitions are recognised as the Players of the Round. The Player of the Round is determined by a points system with all winners receiving a certificate at the Junior Awards Night.






McKenzie Shield (Under 14s)


The McKenzie Shield Player of the Round is Lincoln Hobbs (Fremantle). Bowling first, Lincoln contributed with economical figures of 1/20 off his 9 overs and also took a catch to restrict Perth to 164. Chasing a low total, Lincoln was sensational with the bat as he scored 158* off 166 balls in a stunning display of batting, hitting 28 fours! This superb effort from Lincoln earned him the Player of the Round performance across all junior grades for the second time in the season! 



Inverarity Shield (Under 13s)


The Inverarity Shield Player of the Round is Will Malajczuk (Subiaco-Floreat). Bowling first, Subiaco-Floreat restricted Wanneroo to 129 all-out as Will picked up 2/18 off 5.2 overs and inflicted a run-out in the field. Chasing a modest total, Will smashed the ball to all parts, scoring a blistering knock of 126 off 89 balls, including 18 fours and 3 sixes! The superb performance earned him his back-to-back Player of the Week awards. Well done Will!
