A Grade

Melville 6/156 def South Perth 153 All Out

South Perth won the toss and elected to bat first at Tompkins Park, but quickly falling to 3/40 before Kate Cross (48) and Poppy Stockwell (14) added 49 for the fourth wicket to add some stability to the innings. However, with the fall of Cross, wickets fell regularly as Mathilda Carmichael (4/20) and Amy Edgar (4/31) worked together to dismantle the South Perth innings for 153. Those same two got the innings off to a strong start adding 62, before 3 quick wickets put Melville on the back foot. The middle order stabilised things though, and despite 2/8 from Tyler Jones, Melville got home with 4 wickets to spare and the bonus point.

Subiaco Floreat 9/199 def University 121 All Out

Subiaco Floreat recorded a comfortable 78 run win over University thanks to a strong batting performance from their contracted players. Batting first, Subiaco Floreat made 9/199 from their allocated overs, as Megan Banting (68) and Heather Graham (44) top scored with the bat, while Hannah Bidulph was effective with the ball taking 3/35. Despite 55 from Piepa Cleary at the top, the University chase always struggled to overcome the total, as they were bowled out for 121, as Sam Quadrio took 3/20.

B Grade

Melville 274 All Out def South Perth 76

Melville recorded a strong win over South Perth yesterday thanks to a tremendous top order batting display. Batting first, Melville piled on 274, thanks to Gabby Simmonds (44), Lauren Thompson (78), Jess Row (34) and Ella Mills (40) all making substantial contributions, while South Perth bowler Mia Wallis took the tidy figures of 3/4. The South Perth chase unfortunately didn't put up much of a fight, despite 17 from Loren Russo as Simmonds ran riot taking 5/8 from 5 overs in the emphatic win.

Midland Guildford 7/239 def Rockingham Mandurah 7/111

Midland Guildford proved too strong for Rockingham Mandurah at Lilac Hill as they racked up 7/239 batting first on s sublime batting track. Rhinnanon Vinkovich top scored with 61, as Annelies Gevers (49) and Amanda Ballucci (39) made tidy contributions despite Louisa Hogarth's attempt to hold the run rate down with 2/14. The Rockingham Mandurah chase got off to a steady start as Kayla Van Spall (31) and Eleanor Britton (22) added exactly 50 for the first wicket, but only Hogarth (25) made double figures from there as Rockingham Mandurah finished well short from there. Ballucci rounded out a good game with 3/8 from 7 overs.
